František Hodonský
*1945
Eminent Czech landscape painter, who exceeds the category of landscape painting because of his spontaneous and imaginative thinking about nature. He completed studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts (AVU) in Prague. Water plays a crucial role in his art. In 2010, Hodonský won the Vladimír Boudník Award, named after the innovater of printmaking techniques Vladimír Boudník.
