Third Meeting of Czech and Slovacs artists in Languedoc-Roussillon, 2010

Third Meeting of Czech and Slovacs artists in Languedoc-Roussillon, 2010

In June 2010, we returned for the third time in our favorite France, in a typical village of Canet in the south of France, Languedoc-Roussillon, located about 50 km from the Mediterranean Sea. This place was already, for all those who came here several times, like their home. You can feel charming southern French atmosphere everywhere - grandfathers playing petanque in the village square, the smell of fresh baguettes, local people drinking rosé on the terrace and no tourists. The only foreigners are just Czech artists, this time composed of Mirek Pošvic, Jaromír Másler, Bára Olmrová, Richard Augustin and for the first time, two Slovak painters, Igor Piačka and Andrej Augustín. The magical atmosphere of Centre Nyama was again very pleasant for the creation and final opening, enriched by music and dance program of Nizoucha´s French friends and also Patrick Thomas.
